About Us

Going back a while, the boys met at Olton and West Warwickshire Hockey Club, with Will 'coaching' and Elliot 'playing'. The two Midlanders were reunited years later, as Coaches on the England Hockey DiSE programme, and when thrust into lockdown produced coach development videos as Will et Ell. Enjoying working together to support other coaches LFT has continued to evolve and expand ever since

Our purpose is to connect with coaches who want to improve their knowledge and practice. We offer a different take on people development and enable individuals to take control of their own learning. We feel that by creating informal learning experiences that are accessible when you want, where you want and how you want, we empower every coach to take control of their development journey.

 WILL MURRAY

"Previously I have experienced coaching and coach development at a range of levels, from grassroots to Junior International and National League, I have managed a large staff and significant administrative programme at a leading Northern Independent School, and I supported regional coach development as a Centrally Contracted Coach with England Hockey. Additionally I have been Men’s Head Coach with Notts Trent University and Belper Hockey Club and I have been an Assistant Coach with England Hockey U18 Boys.

I am a proud Midlander, raised in North Warwickshire, an avid Wolves supporter and cricket fan. I come from a large yet close family, and I am exceptionally privileged to be a quadruple uncle and double godfather. I regularly suffer from dog envy, and my running career is perpetually held back by a love of Belgian beer, bacon sandwiches and Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Don’t follow me on Strava.”
