Will & El

We go back back a while, meeting at Olton and West Warwickshire Hockey Club, with Will 'coaching' and Elliot 'playing'. The two Midlanders were reunited years later, as Coaches on the England Hockey DiSE programme, and when thrust into lockdown produced coach development videos as Will et Ell. Enjoying working together to support other coaches LFT has continued to evolve and expand ever since.

Our purpose is to connect with coaches who want to improve their knowledge and practice. We offer a different take on people development and enable individuals to take control of their own learning. We feel that by creating informal learning experiences that are accessible when you want, where you want and how you want, we empower every coach to take control of their development journey.

Meet The Team

Elliot Foweraker

Elliot is the current Director of Hockey at Malvern College, he is currently supporting the Swedish Hockey Federation and with the mens and women's national teams, including being at the Eurohockey 5's championships in Poznan. Recently he has started his FIH level 5 high performance course, which was held in Malaysia and is also an FIH Coach coach developer. Previously he worked as the programme lead for u18 & u16 Hockey Wales girls for 4 years and was also the assistant coach to the senior women team. He has worked at tournaments including the commonwealth games, European championships and FIH World Cup qualifiers. Indoor wise, he has completed the FIH high performance indoor course and has worked at the Senior Women's Eurohockey Championships in Croatia and with Sweden U21s at the European Championships in Parades, Portugal.

Will Murray

Will has experience coaching and coach developing at a range of levels, from grassroots to junior international and national league, he has managed large staff teams and significant administrative programmes at a leading Northern Independent Schools and supported regional coach development as a centrally contracted coach with England Hockey. Additionally Will has previously been men’s head coach with Nottingham Trent University and Belper hockey club and an assistant coach with England Hockey u18 boys. He is a proud Midlander, raised in North Warwickshire, he recently coached Warwickshire to the mens County A division championship. He has also spent time coaching in Belgium at Arlon Hockey club and was also assistant coach to the u18 Scotland boys team taking them to a european championship in 2023.
